    Hey Parents!

I am in the process of getting together some blog posts on how I teach the UM to my 4 young boys as well as places you can take them to do hands on learning and lots of fun experiments we do together. I would love to get some input from other parents on how you teach true science to your kids or questions you have so we can all collaborate together. Also I want to put a plug in for anyone who lives in Arizona, one of our long time teachers and supporter of the UM Allan Wade teaches a True Science class to kids at American Family Education School in Mesa and anyone can sign their kids up for that! He does an amazing job teaching the UM principles and discoveries to kids in lots of fun ways! Blog posts to come and happy discovering!

We homeschool our children here in Utah. I was told that the UM is working with a local private school here to produce a learning curriculum for children. I have no idea what the timeline on that might be. I am looking forward to reading your blog posts and collaborating together.

Yay!! So excited to learn more on what’s happening ‘on the ground’ in Mesa, Brooke!! And Eric – great news!! I hope the give us a ‘taste’ of the curriculum for children as they go along.
After being introduced to UM and reading about it this week, I can’t look back- what is education if not the search and learning of truth? So, with the limited knowledge I have of UM, and without much of a plan – I’m going to embark on a teaching journey with my children this coming week. I’ve been trying to figure out how, and feel that the only way for me at this stage is to do as many have in the past – the (modernly termed) TJEd model of education – reading and exploring the core informational book. I’m hoping, and sure that ideas will come as we discover and read from those who have been the discoverers.
Feeling nervous, wishing there was more guidance, but so grateful for the truths and true principles the universal model teaches.

You guys are rock stars! We will learn just as much as the kids for sure! I’ll keep you updated when I get more posts up about experiments we have done and cool places we have gone.

Here is a link to the page on the website that has fundamental questions and the page numbers in the book of where to find the answers, this might help as you are starting to learn and teach kids!

    https://universalmodel.com/about/qa/

Click on volume 1 FQs after you get to the page and you will see them with the page numbers.

Thank you Courtney and Brooke for your encouragement. My family is excited about what we are learning already!! It’s exciting to see my older children make connections to other truths!
Brooke, that’s a great idea to springboard study from that list of questions.. explore and discover the answers together.
