The UM Tucson Rock Show Tours for 2019 will be held on February 8-9. Last year we had a fantastic time taking several tours with UMers to the Tucson Rock Show. Vendors from around the world are selling many of the rock, minerals, gems, and fossils that are discussed in Vol I of the UM. Dean personally meets with each tour group and discusses some of his experiences having gone to the show every year for more than two decades. There are more than 60 locations around the city that have thousands of vendors, and Dean navigates you through these so you can examine and purchase specimens for your own collection if you desire. Expect to have a fun time while asking any questions you wish about the UM and the thousands of rocks and fossils that we will see.
