The FIRM Foundation 2020 EXPO will be held in Sandy, Utah April 9, 10, 11, in 2020. This is the largest gathering of UMers every year as over 7,000 people attend this three day conference last year. It will be held this year at the Mountain America Exposition Center, 9575 State St in Sandy, UT. There are over 80 speakers, 150 presentations, and six rooms for you to pick your topic of interest every hour during three full days. with presentations on a number of different conference venues including the Science Room and the Main Room.
UMers have the opportunity of hearing from author Dean Sessions and chief editor Russ Barlow on each of the three EXPO days, along with a number of other UM speakers. New this year is Ronald Gudnason, a science teacher and nature guide from Iceland who will be discussing how the UM has completely changed his perspective on the world. Daniel Burdett is another new, and enthusiastic UM speaker who will be discussing the UM science that supports Joseph Fielding Smith’s teachings on the origin of man. Returning speaker Jacob Householder’s presentation is on Understanding the Fossil record—Evidences of a Young Earth and Allan Wade, a UM science teacher who will be speaking on two evenings about Tips in Teaching and Sharing the Living System. Mark Burr, our UM hydrogeologist, will be discussing the Hydroplanet Earth, Primary Water and Groundwater exploration in Southern Utah including new water drilling success stories. Heidi Barlow the co-author of the Truthseekers Workbook series, will be discussing the new Truthseekers Workbook: Life and the Human Body, She is an excellent resource for all UM teachers and homeschool parents.
Most of these exciting presentations will be in the Science Room at the conference and all speakers will be available after their presentations for questions. You will get the chance to mingle with many UMers and talk about current issues surrounding the New Millennial Science. The UM has a booth with all of its products at our best prices without shipping or tax and staff to assist you with all your questions concerning the Universal Model.
The long awaited Volume II, The Living System in hard copy will be released at this event along with the new Truthseekers Workbook, on Volume II, and Days of Darwin, a new novel based on the Universal Model, will be released at this event!
Although this is a LDS event, people from all faiths attend with the large variety of faith promoting topics discussed and speakers from other faiths participating.
